Barcelona, Spain
The city has enjoyed a sustained period of growth and can now be considered as one of the most vibrant and colourful cities in Europe. Take a stroll down the Ramblas and enjoy the atmosphere and the perforamnces of the many street entertainers on display. The architecture in the city is a marvel and the influence of Gaudi can be seen throughout the city. The Gothic Quarter with its narrow streets and vast cathedral is big on atmosphere and the neighbourhood tapas bars are just the place to refill.
Civitavecchia, Italy (for Rome)
Tthis town has been the port for Rome since the 13th-century and the impressive sights of Rome are still a major draw today. From the wonderful Colosseum, St Peter's Basilica and the Vatican City to the sun-filled piazza's, fabulous fountains, designer shops and trendy cafe's. A must see destination!
St Petersburg, Russia
Capital of Russia for over 200 years this city is a treasure trove of magnificent palaces, museums and cathedrals and is built on a network of canals. The entire city has been named a world heritage site.
